We have developed a unique line of organic Hawaiian herbal body care products used exclusively in our spa and made on Maui. Each product is fashioned using one Hawaiian herb paired with one western herb creating three wonderful blends of balancing aromas.
All our body butters and scrubs are handcrafted from a base of raw organic coconut oil, married with a variety of organic oils, blended with beeswax from our own Makawao bees then scented with pure organic essential oils.
Our signature face and body mists are produced using an assortment of hydrosols from traditional Hawaiian medicinal plants mixed with essential oils to ground, clear, calm, or invigorate.
This wonderful body care line was created in honor of Aunty Mahilani Poepoe, our beloved kupuna (elder) . Her vision of Hawaiian Healing through la’au lapa’au (traditional Hawaiian herbal medicine) has been a constant inspiration for the formulation of these products.
Ho’omana Body Care was created on the island of Maui by Jacqueline Kapua Tyler and Jeana Iwalani Naluai. These women are committed to perpetuating Hawaiian cultural traditions through the healing arts. They are instructors of Hawaiian Lomi lomi massage and have expanded on lineage teachings to bring forth a product line that is pure, natural, and Pono (balanced). A percentage of all products will be used for education of kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiians) in traditional healing techniques and towards establishing community outreach clinics in the islands where Hawaiian medicine can be shared.
